The Sakinah Circle fee provides funding for the alternative program which is not covered by Edmonton Public Schools.
Sakinah Circle Fee for the 2026-27 School Year
$120/month for one child
$200/month for two children
$240/month for three or more children
How do Sakinah fees support the program?
Your fees cover the following costs:
Sakinah Time – instructors and resources
Field trips – transportation to MEF approved destinations supporting the vision of the Program (natural areas and service-oriented locations)
Eid gifts
Resources (including books for the Sakinah library collection, selected materials for teaching and learning, and some consumable materials)
Website and webhosting
Admin position
How can you pay the fees?
Full payment for the school year (10 months) sent via Interac e-transfer to fees@sakinahcircle.com
Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD): Download and fill the PAD form. Send the filled and signed form to admin@sakinahcircle.com. Fees will be withdrawn from your account on the first day of every month, from September 1, 2026 to June 1, 2027 (ten months).

Program Expenditures
In 2026-27, we have 115 families with 189 students enrolled in Sakinah Circle.
Development of resources for teaching and learning with the Qur’anic worldview is being supported by Edmonton Public Schools. We appreciate our partnership with Edmonton Public Schools.
